OUR ROCKVILLE OFFICEYour history.
Your goals. Your care.
A useful treatment plan starts with understanding how you live and what you want to change.
Our clinic is led by Changping Yao, CMD, L.Ac., whose background includes acupuncture, medical education in China, and brain research. Her approach considers your concerns in the context of your health history and ongoing medical care.
Your visit is an opportunity to ask questions, talk through techniques, and discuss what progress would look like for you. Treatment choices are individualized, with your comfort and consent at the center of the conversation.

Understand your options
Acupuncture includes body, scalp, spinal, and auricular approaches. Depending on your needs, the conversation may also include moxibustion, massage, cupping, gua sha, or ear seeds. Each technique has a different experience and set of considerations. Explore our treatment pages before your appointment, or call if you are unsure where to begin.
Keep your wider care connected
Many patients come with an existing diagnosis, medications, or a rehabilitation plan. Bring those details with you. Acupuncture can be discussed as complementary care; decisions about prescribed medicines and specialist treatment remain with your medical team.
Make the visit practical
Our office is at 966 Hungerford Drive, Suite 19A, Rockville, MD 20850. Visits are by appointment, with weekend appointments available and free parking. Call 240-731-9068 to discuss timing or access needs. You can find directions and office information on our contact page.

Patient stories, in their own words.
